This project is a labor of love for me, in the truest sense of the word. My real-life son stars in this sweet little 5-minute short, and I play his mother. This is Colin’s first film… and I’m honestly not sure if he’ll do another one so that makes this even more precious. We shot it 2 and 1/2 years ago (sigh… he’s grown up so much since then!). After the shoot, the footage just sat in film Purgatory until this past January, when the director was gracious enough to hand me the footage and his blessing to finish the film. Since then I’ve taken on the role of executive producer and WE’RE ALMOST DONE! It’s in sound design now getting the finishing touches and we should have it finished by the end of this month.
