I’m still trying to wrap my brain around the bea

I’m still trying to wrap my brain around the beautiful, heart-opening week I just spent in Jordan. Initially I signed up to go (not just for the adventure of it) to support my dear friend, @misscindrich, who was hosting this trip. I had never participated in a group tour before, and was so pleasantly surprised by what a wonderful experience this was. Christina, @jordanality and @nomadnattie curated an incredible itinerary - and the people who joined this tour were all lovely, lively souls. I am returning home with memories and new friends - which/whom I will cherish forever. 🤍🇯🇴

I did a thing… 👙🏅🏅 I stepped quite a b

I did a thing… 👙🏅🏅

I stepped quite a bit out of my comfort zone last weekend and participated in a bikini competition. I decided last summer to sign up, along with my coach @coachcoral415, not really sure what I was in for, but determined to check this item off of my bucket list.

As a result I am in the best shape of my life, and I feel empowered having a better understanding of what my body needs (and doesn’t need) to feel strong and healthy and fit. I am in awe of anyone who competes like this regularly and I met some strong, inspiring women this weekend. As for me, I’m proud of myself for getting on that stage, thankful I didn’t trip in those heels, even more thankful that the tan washed off in 2 showers. 😂 The 2 medals were a really nice bonus.
