I am so very pleased to announce that HOUSE BROKEN, the short film I produced and co-wrote/co-starred in with Andy Peeke is an Official Selection at the Garden State Film Festival! I am thrilled for HOUSE BROKEN to have its premiere at GSFF – and in my home state of New Jersey! The film festival runs from March 31- April 3, 2016 in Atlantic City, NJ.
I am now represented by Bella Agency for commercial and print work! Led by Ray Volant, Bella Agency is a leading boutique agency, with offices in New York and Los Angeles, that provides models for both lifestyle and fashion advertising. I’m looking forward to working with this most excellent team!
THAT’S A WRAP!!! Filming for House Broken is finished! We got some gorgeous footage and captured some truly special moments! It was a wonderfully satisfying shoot, as a producer and actor! Now on to post-production! A huge THANK YOU to our Director, Beth Spitalny, our Director of Photography, Nicola Raggi, my co-writer and co-star, Andy Peeke, our two little stars Taleen and Ara McOmber, and the rest of our amazing team!
I am very excited about my next project, “House Broken”, for a number of reasons! First of all, I co-wrote this film (my first writing credit!) with my friend and über-talented fellow actor Andy Peeke. Andy and I star as a married couple who has difficulty potty training their youngest child. This puts a strain on their marriage… and their social lives. I am also producing this project with my new film production company – SOS Productions – and I’m loving all that’s involved with that! We have a fantastic team, led by our award-winning director, Beth Spitalny. I am also happy to once again be working with Nicola Raggi, who was my director of photography for “Tom’s Dilemma” and “Pizza Fiction”. We shoot this August! Stay tuned…
On Friday I stopped by to visit my friends at Chasing News to walk their red carpet, present a citation of commendation and praise from the New Jersey Senate and Assembly, and to help celebrate their 500th episode! Chasing News can now be seen in the New York market at 10 PM on My9 and 1 AM on Fox5, as well as the Philadelphia market at 12:30 AM on Fox29! Congratulations, Chasers! I was honored to celebrate with you! Watch it HERE!
This project is a labor of love for me, in the truest sense of the word. My real-life son stars in this sweet little 5-minute short, and I play his mother. This is Colin’s first film… and I’m honestly not sure if he’ll do another one so that makes this even more precious. We shot it 2 and 1/2 years ago (sigh… he’s grown up so much since then!). After the shoot, the footage just sat in film Purgatory until this past January, when the director was gracious enough to hand me the footage and his blessing to finish the film. Since then I’ve taken on the role of executive producer and WE’RE ALMOST DONE! It’s in sound design now getting the finishing touches and we should have it finished by the end of this month. In the meantime, a few production stills are up on IMDb – check it out!
