My new voice-over reel is done – listen to smooth velvety sound of ME selling you a car, a health beverage, jewelry… and reading a dramatic love letter. It’s the first time I’ve compiled my voice work in one place, and I’m already booking more voice-over jobs as an almost immediate result!
I play “SuperMom” in my newest commercial for Vitamin Dose! With the help of Vitamin Dose (and some special effects) I demonstrate how I juggle motherhood and a career with ease! I also did the Voice Over work for this spot. It was directed and edited by Peter Normandia of Edit Cellar and shot by Mitch Martinez. I had a great time working on this – and I’m “super” pleased with how it turned out!
I booked Emergency One commercials! Thanks so much to Breakthrough Casting for casting me in TWO commercials for Emergency One! I am a professional with a cold in the 15-second spot and a concerned mother of a sick toddler in the 30-Second spot. Both spots were produced by Ellenbogen Creative Media and were filmed this past Tuesday in upstate New York. Links to the finished commercials will be posted shortly!
Filming wrapped on my latest short film “A Good Neighbor”! I starred alongside Morton Hallberg, who plays my creepy new neighbor. This thriller was written and directed by the very talented Adrian Anaya, whom I met on the set of “As It Seems” a couple of years ago. It was a pleasure working with Adrian again – and I was honored to be cast as the lead in his directorial debut! The executive producer wants the film locked by this summer, so I look forward to being able to share it soon! In the meantime, the movie poster will have to do…
Right before St. Patrick’s day, I spent a fun Friday afternoon with my friends at Chasing News – demonstrating how to make a proper Irish Coffee! Its something I learned on my last trip to Ireland and I’m strangely passionate about it. I almost never get them in the States now, because I have to be such a “Sally” when I order. A true Irish Coffee is a beautiful thing. This television appearance is my first attempt at letting Americans know WE’RE DOING IT ALL WRONG! I sincerely believe, if I continue to get the the word out, I will be doing my part in making this world a better place. You’re welcome.
I play a blinged-out, bronzer-abusing, gum-smacking, selfie-taking machine! I had to dig deep for this character but the effort was worth it – THIS, ladies and gentlemen, this is art. “50 Shades Of Nay” was written by the stand-up comic genius, Kevin Israel – who also stars as Christian Grey in this fun parody of Fifty Shades of Grey. Mr. Grey will see you now…
Just wrapped my latest shoot – the parody “50 Shades of Nay”! Written by Kevin Israel (a ridiculously funny standup comedian) and featuring a snarky script and a quirky cast of characters, we had a lot of laughs during filming! Sit tight – this will be unleashed online very soon!
I’m excited to announce I was just cast in the role of “Supermom” for a Health Beverage company Commercial. Being typecast isn’t always a bad thing… 😉 More info coming soon!
As Governor Christie prepared to make his grand entrance to the New Jersey Assembly Chamber for his annual State of the State speech, we had legislators walk our red carpet and talk about what every New Jerseyan really wanted to know – “Who are you wearing?!?” I’m relatively certain our red carpet and bedazzled microphones were a first for the State House!
