The screenplay for “Walking Point” (for which I voiced the lead actress for the trailer) takes the Gold Remi at the 47th WorldFest Houston International Film Festival. Congratulations to screenwriter RJ Nevens and to the whole “Walking Point” team!
See me play a Divorced Mother, a Desperate 60’s Housewife, an aspiring Real Housewife of New Jersey and a Brooklyn waitress/mob princess/wannabe starlet. My updated reel has scenes from some of my more recent films, including “Tom’s Dilemma”, “As It Seems”, “The End” and “Pizza Fiction”. CLICK HERE to give it a gander!
“The End”, a short film I shot last year, will be featured at the First Run Film Festival 2014! The festival will be held on April 5th in NYC. “The End” stars Cassidy Lehrman (Entourage) and was directed by Emma Jay. It’s great to see this quirky, charming film find its first audience! I am proud to be a part of it!
Happy New Year! I’m starting 2014 off with a bang – my music video for “Dynamite” is finished and I’m so happy with how it turned out! I directed and produced the video myself, with the award-winning Kyle Fisher as Director of Photography AND the award-winning Connor Hurley as editor. We shot at Terminus Studios, Atlantic Sound Studios and at Steve Greenwell’s studio – all in New York City. Check it out HERE!
We screened “Pizza Fiction” on the big screen tonight at NYFA. The film is looking great and was very well received! It is now going through some additional edits and being sent to a composor for an original score, so that it can be submitted to festivals in the near future!
So my most recent labor of love is finally finished and ready for world consumption. LISTEN TO DYNAMITE HERE!! Dynamite was written by the incredibly talented Jess McAvoy and I am honored to have her friendship and support in singing her beautiful song. A special thanks to my dear friend Stacy Smith (Producer, piano, back-up vocals), Scott Byrne (Producer & Guitars), Ryan Cullinane (Drums), Diko Shoturma (assistant engineer), James Yost (assistant engineer) and Steve Greenwell (Mixer).
After completing a wonderfully transformational “More Than Acting” workshop this weekend with Deena Levy, I will be joining her scene study class starting next week. I am honored to be working with this wonderfully gifted woman and excited to be inspired and to take my acting to a higher level!
What a great time we had shooting this short film! The cast was just fantastic to work with, Kevin Littlelight and Melanie Reinboldt wrote a fun, quirky script with great characters, and we had the fabulous Nicola Raggi as Director of Photography (who was also the DP for “Tom’s Dilemma”)! I’m told this film will be finished by mid-December, and I’m really looking forward to seeing what we all made.
